What NETKEEPER looks at
- Android: how much mobile and Wi-Fi data each app has used, and which apps are installed (so it can show their names and icons). Android asks you to switch on "Usage access" for this, and you can switch it off at any time.
- Windows: how much data your PC's network connection and each program have used.
Where it goes
Nowhere. The Android app does not have permission to use the internet, and neither app contains any code that connects to a server. Your figures, settings and history are stored only on your phone or PC, and they are removed when you uninstall NETKEEPER or delete its folder.
Other Android permissions
- Notifications: to show your daily data line and warnings.
- Start after restart: to keep the background check running after the phone restarts.
Sharing the app
If you tap "Share NETKEEPER" on Android, the app hands its own installer file to your phone's share sheet. It goes only where you choose to send it. None of your data goes with it.
This website
netkeeperapp.com is hosted by Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs (such as the time of a visit and a network address) to run and protect the site. We do not add cookies, analytics or adverts to the pages. If you choose a look (light or dark), your browser remembers that on your own device only.
Children
NETKEEPER does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
